The Nature Impressions Collection explores nature, presence and absence. The clay holds dried flowers or seeds found while walking, as well as the patterned impression they make when pressed into the clay.

This piece is made from dried dandelion heads that I found while walking in the San Gabriel Mountains. The impressions of them are made in polymer clay, and stitched with linen.
