The Nature Impressions Collection explores nature, presence and absence. The clay holds dried flowers or seeds or rocks found while walking, as well as the patterned impression they make when pressed into the clay.

This piece is made from Mallow flowers. The Mallow plant is native to the California Desert. The impressions of them are made in polymer clay, and stitched with hand spun, hand dyed wool from Teotitlán del Valle, Mexico.
